Precision Products Group, Inc. (PPG) is the parent company for a fast-growing
family of leading manufacturers of precision tube and spring products for
automotive, electrical insulation, medical and pharmaceutical, specialty
packaging and many other industrial and consumer products.
PPG was founded in 1980 with the mission of helping customers achieve higher
levels of product performance, quality and economy with innovative new products.
It was PPG's belief that this could only be done by specially designing and manufacturing
products tailored to each particular customer application. Sometimes this could be
achieved with a simple design change or new material type. Often it required an
investment in the development of custom new equipment to produce a totally new
product more efficiently. On several occasions, a completely new facility was built
or acquired to support customer requirements as it entered an emerging new market.
The willingness to find and apply unique product solutions for customers in dozens
of diverse industries and markets has set PPG and its divisions apart. Today, PPG and
its divisions are considered the leaders in their respective industries. Most recently,
PPG has established a manufacturing presence in China, with its PPG China subsidiary,
which will enable a fast-growing customer base in China to benefit from localized
product, service and support.
